We find ourselves at the end of yet another week and this weekend is delivering what weekends do best and more. From Crescent Street to Boulevard St. Laurent, the city’s got you covered for a guaranteed good time. Here’s what you won’t want to miss out on in Montreal this weekend.

St. Laurent is officially open to pedestrians all the way through from Sherbrooke to Mont-Royal for the annual Mural Fest. Check out any of the free events happening over the next few days including tonight’s opening act Cam’ron and Tommy Genesis. The dance party continues tomorrow with Montreal bands Milk & Bone, Choses Sauvages + guests as well as the beginning of the three day event Cloud Cypher with an array of DJs set to perform.

This weekend is also hosting one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. That’s right folks, it’s time for Grand Prix. Check out Tyga at New City Gas Friday night or Benny Benassi with Chantel Jeffries and 88GLAM on Saturday (tickets are available for purchase on the New City Gas website).

Head downtown any day this weekend to Crescent Street as theF1 event is celebrating its 20th year. The Corona stage at the corner Crescent and de Maisonneuve has got a variety of DJ sets and live bands such as Montreal’s very own Black Russian Band and the disco cover band with the ever so clever name Boogie Wonder Band.

Feeling fancy? You might want to look into the 11-day VIP music package with mural fest. Feeling extra fancy? Look no further than any of the world-class parties Grand Prix has to offer.

And to sign off to get started on the festivities, here’s a special treat to get you in the Formula 1 frame of mind; a little custom playlist of the best race tracks (pun absolutely intended) from the team at Couture Media.
